General Terms and Conditions
Terms and conditions for the AboQuit.ch cancellation service.
As at: October 2026
1. Scope of application and provider
These Terms and Conditions apply to all cancellation and withdrawal requests that you submit via AboQuit.ch issue. The provider is XelveTec, Owner Kubilay Demirci (sole trader), Egelseestrasse 31, 8280 Kreuzlingen, Switzerland, VAT number CHE-206.453.312 (hereinafter ‘we’).
The version applicable at the time of your order shall prevail. Any deviating terms and conditions shall only apply if we agree to them in writing.
2. Our services
We use the details you provide to draft a cancellation or withdrawal letter, print and envelope it, and hand it over to Swiss Post via our printing partner, pre-paid, for delivery to the provider of your choice. The letter is sent using the delivery method described on the website, including tracking.
Termination or withdrawal is your own declaration, which you submit with your signature. We merely act as a messenger; we do not act as your representative and are not a party to your contract with the provider.
We do not provide legal advice. In particular, we do not check whether a termination or withdrawal is permissible, which time limits, deadlines or formal requirements apply, or what consequences the termination will have for you. In the case of compulsory health insurance, for example, a change of provider only takes effect once the new insurer has confirmed your enrolment.
Note on cancellation: When using the cancellation function, please note that under Swiss law there is no general statutory right of cancellation for online or in-store purchases, unless this is provided for by law (e.g. Art. 2a of the Swiss Insurance Contract Act (VVG) for insurance contracts or Art. 40a et seq. of the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) for doorstep sales) or contractually provided for by the respective provider.
Note on form (Art. 14 OR): The signature drawn on the screen or automatically generated and printed on the letter constitutes a reproduced signature (facsimile/text form) and not an original handwritten signature within the meaning of Article 14 of the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) or a qualified electronic signature in accordance with the Qualified Electronic Signatures Act (ZertES). The service is intended exclusively for contracts where written form or a reproduced signature is sufficient. The following are expressly excluded from use: notices of termination of residential and commercial tenancy agreements (Article 266l of the Swiss Code of Obligations), leasehold agreements, employment contracts, guarantees, and matters involving administrative or judicial time limits.
3. Conclusion of a contract
The information displayed on the website does not constitute a binding offer. You select the provider, enter your details and sign. Before placing your order, you will see a preview of your letter and the price; up until that point, you can check and correct all your details at any time. By clicking on «Proceed to payment», you are placing a binding order.
The contract comes into effect as soon as payment has been successfully completed. We will confirm your order immediately on the website and by email.
4. Prices and payment
The price displayed in Swiss francs per cancellation or withdrawal letter during the payment step prior to completing the order applies. This is a final price; printing, paper, envelope, postage and dispatch are included. We do not charge any further costs. All prices quoted are final prices in Swiss francs (exempt from VAT in accordance with Article 10 of the Swiss VAT Act).
Payment is due in advance and is made via our payment service provider Stripe using the payment methods displayed during the payment process (e.g. TWINT, credit and debit cards).
5. Execution and delivery
Once payment has been received, your letter will automatically be sent for printing and is usually handed over to Swiss Post within two working days. Delivery is subject to Swiss Post’s delivery times and terms and conditions; we cannot guarantee a specific delivery date.
Please submit your request in good time before your notice period expires. We recommend allowing a buffer of at least five working days.
6. Your obligations
You are responsible for ensuring that
- Your details are complete and correct, in particular your name, address and contract number;
- You may only terminate your own contracts or if you are authorised to do so;
- the signature is your own;
- Do not use the service for contracts that are excluded from use under clause 2 (e.g. tenancy, employment or lease agreements);
- You must not use the service in an abusive or unlawful manner.
We compile the providers’ addresses with care. You can check and amend the recipient’s address before sending. We accept no responsibility for any change of address by the provider of which we are not aware.
If you use the automatic form-filling feature via document scanning, the details are read automatically from your document and may contain errors. Please check all pre-filled fields before submitting; the details you confirm are the ones that count.
7. No right of withdrawal, no refund
Under Swiss law, there is no statutory right of withdrawal for contracts concluded online. As your request is processed automatically once payment has been made, a paid order cannot be cancelled.
If, for reasons attributable to us, we are unable to dispatch your letter, we will refund the full amount you have paid.
8. Liability
We will carry out your order with care. For damages resulting from slight negligence, our liability is limited, to the extent permitted by law, to the price paid. We are liable for wilful misconduct, gross negligence and personal injury in accordance with the statutory provisions.
In particular, we accept no liability for
- the provider’s refusal or failure to honour the notice of termination;
- missed deadlines or appointments, provided that we have performed our service as described;
- Delays or losses for which Swiss Post is responsible;
- Consequences of incorrect or incomplete information;
- the legal and financial consequences of termination.
In cases of slight negligence, we shall not be liable – to the extent permitted by law – for indirect or consequential damages, in particular for ongoing contractual, premium or subscription costs incurred by the provider. We are liable for our agents and representatives (e.g. the printer) to the same extent as for our own conduct (Art. 100(1) and Art. 101(2) of the Swiss Code of Obligations).
9. Data protection
You can find out how we process your personal data in our Privacy Policy.
10. Applicable law and jurisdiction
Swiss law applies exclusively, to the exclusion of the Vienna Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The place of jurisdiction is Kreuzlingen. For consumers, the mandatory places of jurisdiction under Article 32 of the Swiss Code of Civil Procedure (ZPO) remain reserved.
Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain valid.
In the event of any discrepancies between the language versions, the German version shall prevail.
